Have you been thinking about starting therapy and having trouble finding someone you connect with? Searching for a therapist can be overwhelming, even more so when you are going through life challenges and have limited energy to spare. Therapy can provide a space for healing, clarity, and growth, and the relationship between therapist and client has been found to be the most important ingredient in that process.

I approach my work with flexibility, compassion, and a deep respect for self-determination. I firmly believe you are the expert in your experience.

My style is a blend of my professional training, educational background, and my own experiences as a therapy patient. I do my best to provide a non-judgmental, warm, and collaborative environment so that we can talk honestly and openly to address your needs. Contact me today to discuss how we can work together.

About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice. Throughout my career, I have worked in schools, residential programs, non-profits, and medical clinics. Most of my professional experience has been within the LGBTQ+ community. I worked as a behavioral health consultant at Howard Brown Health in Chicago, and worked as a staff therapist and clinical supervisor for graduate student interns at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in New York City. In addition to the queer and trans community, I am committed to providing psychotherapy for folks that identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous, and POC. Currently, I am a first year psychoanalytic candidate at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis. I eagerly welcome referrals from those interested in a psychoanalytic approach to therapy.
